Original Images

In order to create a concept image of the character Lauren in a dark London alleyway, two separate images were collected and combined. These consisted of Tatiana Maslany (Lauren) in a television role, and a photograph of a London alley at night. The end result was created to present a certain scene representation; the moment after Lauren is forced to kill Amanda and flee, ducking into an alleyway before the police spot her.

The image also gives a sense of how dark and frightening the character's life has become, due to her surroundings and situation. Along with visual and editing style representations of urban, dark themes, wide shot framing, set lighting and a mixture of blue and yellow colour grading to represent simultaneous hope and fear.
