Helen & Lauren

To create a concept image features the characters Helen and Lauren, three separate images were collected and combined. These consisted of Felicity Huffman (Helen) and Tatiana Maslany (Lauren) both in separate television roles, and a photograph of a conventional, contemporary living room. The end result allows for varying scene representations, such as Helen smiling at Lauren as she views her mother's artwork, or just before they are about to sit down for breakfast together.

The concept image gives a representation of the characters' initial positive relationship, due to their positioning and expressions. And the visual and editing style of the series is represented through light themes, medium close-up framing, natural lighting and yellow colour grading.
